The Cancel button is not clickable when the search box loses focus.

When you do the following for Searchbar

[_searchbar Resignfirstresponder];

will appear

The Cancel button at this point is grayed out because the Enabled property of the Cancel button changes to No when Searchbar loses focus. When you know the reason, you want the Cancel button to not change color, and you can click. Then you need to set its Enabled property
