The default type of the button is submit.

Today, we used the button tag in HTML and wrote a bit of code in JS to complete the onclick practice. When I clicked it, it not only executed the function I wrote, the form is submitted, and its button is sumbit.

Then I tested all my browsers, including ie 11, Firefox 32, and chrome 38, and found that the default types of buttons in these browsers are submit, add type = "button" when you write the button next time, or use the input of the button as the type.
