The delegation tab of user cannot be found in Active Directory users and computers?

When troubleshooting a problem, you need to check the delegation configuration of a user. The delegation tab of a common user cannot be found in the test environment except the domain administrator.

Cause

Delegation tab is only displayed when there is at least one value set in the serviceprincipalname attribute.

The delegation tab appears only when the serviceprincipalname attribute of the object contains at least one value.

 

Solution

==============================

Use setspn.exe to set a value for this attribute.

You can also use the Attribute Editor tab to assign values to serviceprincipalname. Then the tab is displayed.
