The difference between a js function parameter and an actual parameter

Source: Internet
Author: User

This is defined in the JavaScript authoritative guide:

The difference between a parameter's physical parameter (parameter) and an argument (argument), which is equivalent to a variable defined in a function, is a parameter passed in when a function call at run time.

To be clear, a parameter is a variable that is declared as a function, and the argument is the specific argument passed in when we call the function.

Example:

When declaring a function add, a, B is the formal parameter. The call function, add, is the argument.

function Add (A, b    ) {return A + b};add;
