The difference between clone () and Clone (True)

Source: Internet
Author: User

The Clone () method is used to copy an element, but the copied element does not have the ability to copy, and if you want the copied element to have the ability to replicate, you need to add the Clone () method to the True parameter, which is clone (true).

For example:

<! DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 transitional//en" "Http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd ">

<meta charset= "UTF-8" >
<script src= "Http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.0.min.js" ></script>
<style type= "Text/css" >
IMG {
Border:solid 1px #ccc;
padding:3px;
margin:5px
}
</style>
<script type= "Text/javascript" >
$ (function () {
$ ("img"). Click (function () {
$ (this). Clone (True). AppendTo ("span");
})
})
</script>

<body> <span></span> </body>
