The difference between CSS properties word-spacing and letter-spacing

word-spacing and letter-spacing are used to define the horizontal spacing between words or letters. As the name implies, Word-spacing defines the whitespace between the words, for example:

<div style= "word-spacing:20px;" >how is you</div>

specifies how the white space between these three words is 20 pixels. and

<style= "letter-spacing:20px;" >howareyou</div>

Specifies that the horizontal distance between each letter is 20 pixels.

It should be noted that in order to set the spacing of Chinese characters, letter-spacing must be used:

<style= "letter-spacing:20px;" > Hello </div>
