The difference between minimizing and hiding a Mac

The focus is on the difference between two points:

Minimizing hides the current application's window, does not switch the current application, hides the window, and switches the current focus to the last active application.

When you manually switch applications with cmd + TAB, hidden windows are automatically displayed, but not minimized.

Minimizing will animate, hiding there will be no animations.
