The difference between the software versions of QT

1. QT refers to all the desktop versions of QT, such as Qt/x11,qt Windows,qt Mac. Since QT was first popular with KDE in Linux, many people often say that Qt refers to the qt/x11 used for Linux/unix.

2. qt/e (qt/embedded) was originally a Qt version for embedded Linux systems. QT/E removes the reliance of X LIB and works directly on the frame buffer, thus making it more efficient.
