Objective
Win7 two cards, two network segments of the PC interoperability.
Environment construction
The PC1 is connected via a crossover cable (if the computer is 08 years old, the straight line crossover line is available).
PC2 is a laptop, one end is connected to a PC with a network port, and one end is connected via WiFi to the router.
The PC3 is connected to the router with a network cable.
PC1 IP is 192.168.2.3, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, Gateway is 192.168.2.2
PC2 Ethernet network Adapter configuration IP 192.168.2.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 gateway not configured
WiFi nic IP 192.168.1.78, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1
The IP address of the router is 192.168.1.1
PC3 IP 192.168.1.56 Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1
Configuration command Introduction and use
PC1 Enter commands under commands
Route Add 192.168.1.0 Mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.2 if 11
A route was added with the destination address being a request for the 192.168.1.0 network number, which is sent to Gateway 192.168.2.2 via network card 11. If is the network card number, you can see the network card number through the route print. As configured
Do not add any commands in PC2, but turn on the forwarding function.
Add in PC3
Route Add 192.168.2.0 Mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.78 if 10
Experimental results
Ping 192.168.2.3 from PC3 can ping successfully.
From Pc1ping 192.168.1.56 can also be successful.
Analysis results
PC3
See the result of PC3 PING PC1 from above. But the target IP address is 192.168.2.3, and the target Mac is 00:21:5d:f3:72:22 (this Mac is 192.168.1.78 PC2)
PC2 Configuration
Conclusion
The gateway to configure routing is the Mac that converts the destination Mac of the packet into a gateway.
Routing will automatically route the data packets of the PC to select that NIC to send.
Forwarding: is a network card after receiving the packet, resend it once, send the route.
