The file read-only solution for USB flash drives in linux
I often use a USB flash drive to transmit files in ubuntu. Recently I don't know why, the USB flash drive can be used normally in windows, but the file becomes read-only in linux, unable to copy and paste. the method of searching online is relatively simple and has become more practical after changes. so record it. for your sharing.
It is best to run the following command under the root user:
(1) run this command First: tail-f/var/log/syslog
(2) plug in the USB flash drive (USB flash drive with read-only File Permission)
(3) fdisk-l
From the above we can see that the file system mounted to the U disk is/dev/sdc1, and my computer is a dual system, different computers may be different. this command is usually used to know some information about the system disk.
(4) hanging on a USB flash drive, you can view the path of the USB flash drive through Properties
Umount/media/cjl/UUI ############ cjl is my user name and UUI is my USB flash drive name
(5) sudo dosfsck-v-a/dev/sdc1
After tests and the above five steps, the problem is solved.
In Linux, the USB flash drive becomes read-only and cannot be merged or deleted. How can this problem be solved?
1. check whether any suspicious process is used for antivirus purposes.
2 If not, it is caused by misoperations.
3. Generally, this may happen in USB, but USB does not. The USB flash drive is pulled when writing data to the USB flash drive.
4. If it is caused by misoperations, you can use the file shredder. [Baidu ].
5. After writing, check the file integrity and unplug the USB flash drive.
Cannot I copy files on a USB flash drive in LINUX? How can this problem be solved? Who knows?
Target read-only, you probably use a ntfs-3g, this is not very easy to use, in many cases will force the U disk to become read-only. You delete the ntfs-3g, go to the software warehouse to find another ntfs kit installed on it.
