The Icon size of the Android Application is defined in different resolutions.

Hdpi mainly contains high-resolution images, such as WVGA (480x800) and fwvga (480X854)
The mdpi mainly contains medium-resolution images, such as hvga (320x480)
Ldpi uses low-resolution images, such as qvga (240x320)

 

For the Android platform, the Icon size design varies with resolution. For the mainstream hdpi, that is, the WVGA level, the Icon size of hdpi applications is usually 72X72, the standard mdpi (hvga) is 48x48. ldpi is used for some qvga launched by HTC and Motorola, And the icon is 32x32, the following table lists common android Icon size specifications:
