The ole db access interface "Microsoft. Jet. oledb.4.0" of the linked server "(null)" returns the message "unspecified error

The following error occurs when reading access data in SQL.

You Cannot initialize the data source object of the ole db access interface "Microsoft. Jet. oledb.4.0" of the linked server "(null.

Solution:

 

1Management studio ---> Server Object --> linked server --> Microsoft. Jet. oledb.4.0 --> right-click Properties --> access interface options: None

-- Enable ad hoc distributed queries:

Exec sp_configure 'show advanced options', 1

Reconfigure

Exec sp_configure 'ad hoc distributed queries ', 1
