Although agents generally make public claims that the markup rate does not exceed 15%, it is not difficult to see from the above example of an iron supplementation price increase that the markup rate is much higher than the national regulations. According to industry analysts, the common rule in traditional drug distribution channels is that the profit margin of hospital and pharmacy retail terminals accounts for 10% to 20% of the final pharmaceutical price, the circulation cost in drug sales accounts for more than 50% of the final drug price.

The sales director of a general pharmaceutical wholesale company has a minimum monthly income of 7000 or 8000 yuan, including a base salary of 2000 yuan and a commission of 2% to 5% yuan based on the sales price, 5000 yuan or more after the completion of the drug sales quota of floating bonuses and Public Customs reimbursement, etc.

Drug sales have to go through four "Qian Guan"

The hospital's public customs fee is less than thousands, and the total amount is tens of thousands. The public customs fee of drug stores is 6000 yuan, and other fees are calculated separately.

According to a survey commissioned by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the local Commission for Discipline Inspection and relevant statistical departments, the drug should go through at least four "Money customs" from the manufacturer to the patient ": admission fee, doctor's service fee, sales and maintenance fee, and public bidding fee.
