Registration Form Method

Many software can modify the form of the Registry to hide the "Recycle Bin", as long as you change it back, you will find the "Recycle Bin" icon, the specific operation is:

1. Click Start to run and type "regedit" in "Open" to run Registry Editor;

2. Expand the registry sequentially to: Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionexplorerhidedesktopicons

Newstartpanel;

3. In the right pane, right-click the "645ff040-5081-101b-9f08-00aa002f954e" DWORD value and choose Modify;

4. In the Value data box, type a value of 0, and then click OK;

5. Quit Registry Editor.

If the above process does not help, then in the "Hkey_local_

Machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionexplorerdesktop NameSpace "Under the registry key, create a new name named" 645ff040-5081-101b-9f08-00aa002f954e registry key, then right-click the new registry key, double-click the (default) item in the right pane, type "RecycleBin" in the Value data box, and click OK.

Group Policy method

1. Run Group Policy by clicking Start Run and typing "GPEDIT" in the Open box. MSC ", and then" OK ";

2. Under User Configuration, click Administrative Templates, and then double-click Desktop;

3. Double click "Remove Recycle Bin from desktop";

4. Click the Settings tab, select Not Configured, and then click OK.

Workaround method

If you still cannot recover the Recycle Bin by using the above method, you can work around the problem by creating a shortcut to the Recycle Bin:

1. Open "My Computer";

2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.

3. Click the View tab, and then clear the Hide protected operating system files  recommended check box, and when a warning message appears, click Yes.

4. Click the folder button on the toolbar;

5. In the left window, under Folders, locate the Recycle Bin folder (that is, the recycled folder), and then drag the Recycle Bin folder to the desktop.

Workaround does not reconstruct the original Recycle Bin icon, but can restore most of the Recycle Bin functionality,

This includes deleting files by dragging them to the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop, and by double-clicking the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop,

Right-click the file you want to retrieve, click Restore to retrieve the deleted file, and then right-click the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop.

Then click Empty Recycle Bin to empty the Recycle Bin.

Of course, you cannot access the properties of the Recycle Bin by right-clicking the Recycle Bin shortcut.

To set the properties of the Recycle Bin, use the following procedure: Double-click the Recycle Bin shortcut on your desktop, right-click the Recycle Bin icon in the upper-left corner of the Recycle Bin folder, and then click Properties.
