The Snap application of Sublime Text 3 is available for testing.
The Community has included Sublime Text 3 in the SNAP package. So far, it can be used for testing candidate channels. Snap is a common Linux application with all dependencies. It runs in the sandbox and is isolated from other system software.

Use Snap to install Sublime Text 3:
Once a snapshot is released to a stable channel, you can easily install or delete it in Ubuntu software.
Open the terminal and use Ctrl + Alt + T or search for "terminal" from the application initiator ". Open the terminal and run the following command:
Snap install sublime-text-3 -- classic -- candidate
This command is used in Ubuntu 16.04 and later versions. Once a snap is published to a stable channel, the -- candidate flag is not required.
The snap package and the traditional package coexist. You will have two starter icons, as shown below:
To ensure that you are running the Snapshot Application, run the following command on the terminal:
/Snap/bin/sublime-text-3
Uninstall:
To delete the Snap application of Sublime Text 3, run the following command:
Snap remove sublime-text-3
