The installation process is slightly.

Configuration process:
1. Select Share This computer ' s keyboard and Mouse (Server). Set the most commonly used machines to the server side.


2. Click "Configure" to configure screens and links in the popup window.


3. Click the plus sign below "screen" to add screen. Here you need to add the client's screen and the server's screen.


4. After configuring screens, you need to configure link. First select the relationship between server and client, then click the plus sign under "link".
The relationship between server and client, preferably based on the location of the display on the desktop to set up, so that the operation comfortable point.


5. I set the server on the left side and the client is set to the right. Note: The left and right relations here need to be configured two times.


6. After configuring "Screens" and "Links", you need to click "Advanced" to modify the current screen name. This is still configured on my work machine, so set screen to "server".


7. After the configuration is complete, you can click "Test" on the page to do the test. If the configuration is wrong, you will be prompted for error or warning. After the test is passed, you can click "Start" to start the synergy of the server segment.


8. Client configuration. First, the client needs to make the host name of the server segment that is connected. I am here to fill out "server" is just a demonstration, in fact you have to go to the server side to check the host name.


9. The client also needs to modify the local screen name so that it can be displayed correctly.


10. For ease of use, you can also configure the auto-run mode of the synergy. It can be run automatically after logging in, or it can run after the machine starts. However, there is a problem, if your client set a password, the login page is not able to use the shared keyboard. So, if you have only a keyboard and mouse, it's better to set the client to log in automatically.


Tip: The screen name is best used when configuring the host name, so it is easy to configure and easy to manage.
