You use Word to make a document, and then when you print with a printer, the printed font differs from the on-screen display.

The causes of this problem are many, summed up, mainly in the following points.

1. A draft of the document is printed. If so, you can select tools → options, then switch to the Print tab and uncheck Draft output.

2.Word may be displaying text in draft text. If this is the case, select tools → options, and then switch to the View tab, uncheck the draft font for the outline view and normal view options area.

3. The printer you are using does not support fonts in the document. You can change the document font to a TrueType font, or change to a font that you can use on the printer.
