The hacker organization Phantom Squad launched a DDoS attack on Christmas Day, and many well-known games were affected.

Phantom Squad, a hacker group that promised to launch attacks to the Xbox Live and PlayStation networks during the Christmas holiday, has begun launching small-scale Network attacks to EA (Electronic Arts.
Multiple game servers are affected
During last Christmas, Lizard Squad launched a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on Sony PSN and Microsoft Xbox Live. This attack made millions of host game players around the world unable to connect to the Internet. Lizard Squad also released a service named Lizard Stresser, which allows ordinary people to use the technology of the Organization and launch DDoS attacks against any target. Recently, two organizations (VandaSec and PhantomSec) also expressed support for the hacker organization Phantom Squad. Previously, the organization attacked the Steam Network and other game servers, including "Star Wars: The old Republic", "GTA5", "Grand Prix driver 5", and "Call of Duty: black action 3 and Call of Duty: Black Action 2. All attacks are short-lived, and it seems that they are only conducting penetration tests.

The organization has started operations
On October 11, December 24, we knew that Phantom Squad was not joking. EA suffered a DDoS attack and lasted for three hours. The victim company had to apologize to the customers on official Twitter. After EA acknowledged the attack, Phantom Squad stopped the DDoS attack and announced a new attack to the PlayStation Network on Twitter.

Soon, some users reported issues with PSN on Twitter. Although the attack is not very strong, the network service is already in the Free State.

Currently, the affected platform PS4 indicates the affected service: it may be difficult for you to start a game, application, or offline function. Our engineers are solving the problem as soon as possible and thank you for your patience.
In this network attack, Phantom Squad announced that a former LizardSquad member (@ RootedExploit) had joined them. Currently, Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom was recently ruled by New Zealand that he had been sentenced to the United States, he is also accused of copyright infringement, money laundering, extortion, and other issues.
Last year, Kim DotCom negotiated with the hacker organization Lizard Squad, and KimDotCom finally provided the Organization with a large number of lifetime coupons for Mega services. Later, I stopped network attacks and expressed my gratitude for the concurrent tweets.
