When I come back from school, I want to try watching the TV series under Fedora9 in my bedroom. Of course, it is a popular TV series from BT on the Internet. When I come back from school, I want to try watching the TV series at Fedora 9 in my bedroom. Of course, it is a popular TV series from BT on the Internet.
First, I felt that the BT download tool provided by Fedora was too slow, so I installed Azureus on it. Then I went to the film empire and tried to download a seed file to see if it could work properly. As a result, the speed is good, slow, and slow. I want to test the speed, and I am prompted to say no to play, not to connect. Test the listening port and say no response. Is there any reason? It seems that Fedora does not work well with Ubuntu.
However, I thought again later, maybe it was because I didn't understand anything that made it difficult to use it. So I studied how to open the port. I thought it would support uPnP, but the result is not visible on the router. After searching for half a day, I couldn't find where to open uPnP, so I had to manually perform port ing.
After setting it on the vro, I am still prompted that the listening port does not respond, so I am depressed. What should I do? Check the information and open a firewall. Oh, originally, Fedora had a firewall ...... As described by others, you can use the root permission to edit a firewall setting file. After saving the file, there is no improvement and confusion. I thought, maybe Fedora 9 is not that difficult to use, but it is complicated by myself. At West Point on the east, you can directly set it in the menu system management firewall. Open it, enter the root permission password, click another port, add it, and add a tcp protocol and a udp protocol. The port number is the listening port number on Azureus, that is, the mapped port number on the router. Disable it. Test the listening port in Azureus again. Everything is OK. It is also humorous. Congratulations, you have already solved this problem. At the bottom of the software, the normal NAT words are displayed.
However, the download speed is very slow, with only 20 KB. It seems that I have a speed limit. So I opened the Azureus tool option for transmission, modified the download speed limit, and found that the download speed was flying. Because the system is too old, nothing can be moved directly, and the mouse cannot be moved. However, I had to change the speed limit to 200 kb.
Haha, at this point, the download settings are complete.
The next step is to solve the playback problem. The built-in Totem film player cannot play rmvb format. After reading it, if the decoder is loaded, it is well written. No one knows what is going on. So I thought about installing mplayer on the ground.
I find how to install it on the Internet. Someone has compiled the rpm stuff and I can use it directly. So happy to install it according to what others have said: Go to http://rpm.livna.org/rlowiki/this website and download a RPM package of Fedora 9, add an update source and install it with yum install mplayer. Then you need to use the yum command to download a GUI, yum install mplayer-gui.
When you enable mplayer, you still cannot play rmvb. I have heard that it is for copyright protection and has not compiled the rmvb decoder. Depressed. So I downloaded the original code and prepared to compile it myself. The front./configure is quite good. If there is anything missing, install them one by one as prompted and it will pass. However, if you make a file, it will not work. The error 1 is displayed. I can't do it myself. It is estimated that gcc3 is required, but the current gcc4 must be patched. I gave up. I remember there was a way to add a parameter before, and the system would compile according to gcc3, but I gave up my practice.
Let's turn to another idea. The locally compiled mplayer may not have installed the decoder. Just install it on your own. So I found a good file. If I had downloaded 100% of the files, I tried an incomplete one from the very beginning and made all the mistakes. Then I realized what happened. Then, use the command line mplayer 01. rmvb in the system terminal to open a media file with sound, but no image. Then run the unzip windows-essential-20071007.zip command and the mv windows-essential-20071007/*/usr/lib/codecs command to transfer the desired item. Indicates whether to overwrite a file. Note that/usr/lib/codecs In the second command was found in the previous test error and all decoders are found in this directory.
Then we will test it again. mplayer 01. rmvb remains the same. This time OK. Images and sounds. However, there is a problem. If the file name is too complex, it will not be easy to use the command mode. Try to open a file in the gui. In fact, double-click the rmvb file used for the test. This time, it is good, the system prompts that the specified audio device cannot be opened, so there is no sound. Sorry, it's okay with the command line. Open the settings menu and check what is going on in the bottom. In the settings, the Audio oss (because it is used for Audio Decoding in the command line status) the configure driver is the default device selected. It is estimated that the default device does not work. You can try it one by one in the configure driver drop-down menu. For each change, click the stop button to play the file from the beginning. I did not expect that the first setting can sound. Haha, exit the software and let it save this setting.
Double-click the test file again. It seems OK. Besides some error messages, the decoder cannot be found. Ignore them and click it. I have tried to install those decoders, And I want to install another one, which is endless and annoying. It will not affect my watching and ignore it.
Now, the trial is over. (Author: Piao Boke from: Piao Boke)
