When you enable mplayer, you still cannot play rmvb. I have heard that it is for copyright protection and has not compiled the rmvb decoder. Depressed. So I downloaded the original code and prepared to compile it myself. The front./configure is quite good. If there is anything missing, install them one by one as prompted and it will pass. However, if you make a file, it will not work. The error 1 is displayed. I can't do it myself. It is estimated that gcc3 is required, but the current gcc4 must be patched. I gave up. I remember there was a way to add a parameter before, and the system would compile according to gcc3, but I gave up my practice.

Let's turn to another idea. The locally compiled mplayer may not have installed the decoder. Just install it on your own. So I found a good file. If I had downloaded 100% of the files, I tried an incomplete one from the very beginning and made all the mistakes. Then I realized what happened. Then, use the command line mplayer 01. rmvb in the system terminal to open a media file with sound, but no image. Then run the unzip windows-essential-20071007.zip command and the mv windows-essential-20071007/*/usr/lib/codecs command to transfer the desired item. Indicates whether to overwrite a file. Open the settings menu and check what is going on in the bottom. It is estimated that the default device does not work. You can try it one by one in the configure driver drop-down menu. For each change, click the stop button to play the file from the beginning. Double-click the test file again. It seems OK. Besides some error messages, the decoder cannot be found. Ignore them and click it. I have tried to install those decoders, And I want to install another one, which is endless and annoying. It will not affect my watching and ignore it.
