You create an image control in a form or in a report in Microsoft Office Access 2007. However, you cannot add an image control to an image file, using one of the following formats:

•	Corel drawing (. cdr)
•	Before you can computer graphics metafile (. cgm
•	Macintosh PICT (. pct)
•	WordPerfect graphics (. wpg)

Reason

Alternative methods

To resolve this issue, configure Access 2007 converts the image file to bitmap format. Then, and add the image to the image control. To do this, follow these steps:

1.	Start Access for 2007 years.
2.	The Microsoft Office button opens in turn.
3.	Locate the file with the database you want to open and click Open.
4.	Microsoft Office button to access options in turn.
5.	In the left pane, click the current database.
6.	In the Application Options group, click the Transform Bitmap (with Access 2003 and earlier) for all picture data.
7.	Click OK.
8.	Open a form or report in Design view.
9.	Form tool or Design tab, under the Reporting tool, click the Image icon control group.
10.	In the details pane, drag the position of the image control to the desired image control to display the location.
11.	Insert the Picture dialog box, locate the image file you want to display, and click OK.
