It's all about Facebook.

Yahoo and Microsoft naturally fidget last year when it bought Facebook for 1 billion dollars, with Google buying YouTube, News Corp acquiring MySpace and standing on the brink of competition. After many talks, however, Facebook rejected Yahoo's olive branch, despite the results.

News Corp acquired MySpace in order to extend its hand to the new terminal.

What is Yahoo for? I think it might not be as good as Facebook's wishful thinking.

Microsoft's acquisition of Yahoo, also seems to have done a loss of business.

What is Facebook thinking?

In May 2007, Facebook unveiled the F8 plan, dispelled the uncertainties that hung over Facebook. The entire American internet industry believes that its competitive posture with MySpace has been completely reversed, and Facebook has done is to turn itself into an open platform, many third-party applications and services can be integrated into this platform, and third parties and users can also use the development tools it offers to develop new services.

Perhaps this means that the real giant of the internet is likely to be born, and even that Facebook has done something more than Google. In my opinion, someone's platform is more competitive, and Google is not direct enough in some way. All the people in the past are guessing, the future of the Internet platform, who will become the Overlord? Many will speculate that Google, the industry's most technologically powerful company, or Microsoft's Sofeware platform, which is bundled with the operating system, continues to strengthen the network. And after Facebook's platform strategy is launched, the community site is the best platform. Facebook shows the future of the Internet platform, which is centered on the connections between people (users) and them.

Looking back at the domestic internet, do not talk about what the platform is, we should at least conform to the trend of the world, we should at least open a little bit. Too many companies want to hold users tightly in their hands, information shielding, pictures are prohibited outside the chain. And many web2.0 practitioners, advocating the spirit of openness, but do the closed things. Some are not only phenomena, but also a kind of mind to do things.

When the domestic Internet companies are still busy with the ball, the saliva war, vicious speculation, foreign giants have started to move, Facebook's F8 development platform, Amazon's AWS development platform, Microsoft, Google ... Open means development and interoperability, can have close cooperation, resource integration and sharing, and short-sighted business vision, only with the passage of time, gradually become vulnerable.
