The latest version of Flash Player [2]

The new Flash Player version has been conducting compatibility and bug tests recently. Previously, the memory leakage in the release version has been solved. The problem of misplacement in the device font display has been confirmed and modified. The current version is new.CodeThe codesize of is much smaller than the previous flashplayer 6. In the PC version, the release code size is 408 Kbytes (including video decoding codec), and earlier versions do not include the device font (supported by FreeType ~ 600 Kbytes: the final version (including FreeType) may even reach 1192kbytes. The new version shows that there is no actual platform verification. The current performance is slightly inferior to the previous flashplaer 6, however, compatibility and codesize should be improved a lot-it seems that the actual platform verification is not necessary at present. The plan for the original Phase 2 Linux version (or platform-related version) was decided to temporarily cancel, at present, some time of debugging and compatibility modification will be made before it starts to work in phase 3-hardware acceleration;

 

Recently, we have been overwhelmed by various issues: the debug of the new Flash Player version and the planning of the next step (especially the preparation of hardware acceleration )... we have to support our family. After all, we have a wife and children who have no extra time or energy. In the past two months, I almost slept after midnight every day. Therefore, I recently received a friend asking me about the performance of the new flash player on the platform. I am sorry to tell him, I really don't have time-this version is basically made by myself, especially in the later stages of hardware acceleration, and I really don't have the energy; if there is a slowdown, hope to forgive me --- I am really tired;
