The line sequence, practices, and usage of crossover and direct connections

For cross and direct connections:
The order of the 568a line is from left to right: white green, green, white orange, blue, white blue, orange, white Brown, and brown.
568b is: White orange, orange, white green, blue, white blue, green, white brown, brown.

Crossover refers to the 568a standard end and 568b standard twisted pair wire end.
In this case, both ends are 568a or 568b standard twisted pair wires.

The order of the crossover lines: from left to right: white green, green, white orange, blue, white blue, orange, white Brown, and brown. The other end: from left to right: White orange, orange, white green, blue, white blue, green, white Brown, and brown.

Straight-Through sequence: the two ends are the same (from left to right) and the two ends are all white green, green, white orange, blue, white blue, orange, white brown, brown/or both ends are all: white orange, orange, white green, blue, white blue, green, white brown, brown.

Use of express CONNECT:
1. Connect A vswitch or hub to a vro;
2. A computer (including servers and workstations) is connected to a vswitch or hub.

Cross-line usage:
1. The vswitch and the vswitch are connected through the uplinks port;
2. Connect the hub to the vswitch;
3. Connection Between hub and hub;
4. Two PCs are directly connected (NIC-to-nic );
5. connection between a vro interface and other vro interfaces;
6. Connect the ADSL modem of the Ethernet interface to the NIC interface of the PC.

Simply put, devices on the same layer are connected by a crossover line, and devices on different layers are connected by a direct connection. In other words, if the two ports have the same type, cross-line is used. If the two ports have different types, direct connections are used.
