Match can also be used to return an array of regular

var str= "I love you, I love You";

Str.match (/love/);//return only one Love

Str.match (/love/g);//The G after/love/g is a global match, then returns an array of two love

Similarly

Str.replace (/love/g, "hate");//Convert all love to hate, case-sensitive (/love/g)

Str.replace (/love/gi, "hate");//Convert all love to hate, case-insensitive (/LOVE/GI)

Str.search (/love/);//return to the location where Love is located
