The meaning of _cmd in objective-c

We know that self represents an instance of the current class. You can call a method to access a property.

So what is _cmd ?

The _cmd variable is a hidden argument passed to every method, that's the current selector.

Translation: The _cmd parameter is a hidden parameter used to pass the current selector (method);
