The method of BXP server changing IP

This station BXP diskless system server default IP address is 192.168.1.251, this example is to change the server's IP address to 192.168.118.201 as an example of how to modify the server's IP address.

1, first open the Network Neighborhood properties, the server's IP address to 192.168.118.201, (Figure 1)

2, configure the DHCP service, open the start-Settings-control Panel-management tools-DHCP Point open Bxpserver, "[Scope 192.168.1.0]bxpclient" Delete (Figure 2),

Right-click on "bxpserver[192.168.118.201]" and select "New Scope" (Figure 3),

Point next, the name of the scope is filled with the "BXP" description (Figure 4),

Click Next, start IP and end IP to fill in according to your needs (this is the workstation IP range), for example, start ip:192.168.118.2 end ip:192.168.118.200, subnet mask fill: 255.255.255.0, (Figure 5).

Always click Next, when prompted "router (default gateway)" then fill in the IP address of your router, both workstation gateway, such as 192.168.118.1, (Figure 6),

Click Next, in the domain name and DNS server in the IP address bar to fill in the local DNS server address, such as 202.102.192.68, point Add, where you can write multiple DNS servers (Figure 7).

3. Configure the PXE service

On the server, open Control Panel and double-click the 3 COM PXE icon. If you receive a warning message that the PXE service has not started, click Yes, and if you have installed DHCP with Windows 2000, you will be prompted to install DHCP, the BXP built-in DHCP will be disabled, and the 3COM PXE dialog box appears when you click OK. Click the Network Adapters tab, and in the server IP address list, select the IP address that you want to bind, in this case 192.168.118.201, and click OK to complete the PXE server Setup (Figure 8)

4. Configure VenturCom TFTP Service

Open the server's Control Panel, double-click the VenturCom TFTP service icon, appear in the TFTP Settings dialog box, click the TFTP Network tab, and bind the TFTP service to the associated IP address. For this example, 198.168.118.201, click OK to end the BXP tftp settings. (Figure 9)

5. Configure BXP IO Service

Click the Start menu → select "program" →venturcom bxp→ "BXP io service Preferences", the BXP IO Service Preferences dialog box appears, select 198.168.118.201, click OK button to complete configuring the BXP IO service. (Figure 10)

6. Configure BXP Login Service

On the server, click the Start menu → Select program →venturcom bxp→bxp Login Service Preferences, the BXP Login Service Preferences dialog box appears, checking that the database path is correct ( By default, the C:Program fileventurcombxp VLD. MDB), bind "198.168.118.201" in the IP Settings list, and other options can be set by default click the OK button to complete the configuration of the login service. (Figure 11)

7, click the "Start" menu → program →venturcom bxp→bxp administrator can open BXP management program. Click the Tools menu and select the Configure Bootstrap command to eject the Diagram dialog box (Figure 12),

"Use DATABASE VALUES" before the check out, remove the "IP address" after the IP to "198.168.118.201" (Figure 13)

8, click the "Start" menu → program →venturcom bxp→bxp Administrator Open BXP Management program. Change the management program's panel mode to "Server" → "Disks". Action is: Click the "VIEw" menu and choose "Server" → "Disks" (Figure 14).

Right-click on the Ioserver to select PropertIEs (Figure 15),

Change "IP address" to 192.168.118.201 (Figure 16),

Reboot the server two times to complete the server IP modification.

When the workstation is powered on, it is ready to enter the system. In "BXP management" in the mirror Baoshi as private mode, open one of the workstations and install its gateway and DNS changed to your gateway and DNS, and then shut down the computer, and the mirror package to share mode, then open all workstations, complete the settings.
