The use of Win7 system more and more people, Win7 compatibility compared to Vista has been much better, but Win7 run some of the old program will still appear in the program does not respond to the phenomenon, of course, even under the XP will still appear this situation, the difference is that XP processing for the response time is relatively short, And the Win7 handler does not respond longer, then how to shorten the Win7 program response time? Please see below:

Run the registry, expand to Hkey_current_usercontrol paneldesktop, and then right-click the window in the right margin to create a new DWORD 32-bit value.

Double-click the new value and rename it to "Waittokillapptimeout".

After renaming, do not modify the system defaults, save the changes and then exit.

Through the above registry modification, you can shorten the Windows 7 system response time, to avoid problems such as system animation. In fact, "Waittokillapptimeout" exists by default in Windows Vista systems, but I don't know why Microsoft canceled it in Windows 7.
