VMware Workstation installed in other versions earlier may not be fully uninstalled.
Shut down all vmware-related services, open the registry, search for all key values of VMware, delete them, and then install them.
The premise is that there is no other VMware software on your machine, otherwise it will lead to other VMware software decommission
Delete window service command
Run the Windows Command SC .exe to start --cmd.exe and then enter SC -? You can view the service name using the SC Delete parameter (if there is a space in the middle of the service name, you need to quote it)
Example: SC Delete testservice www.2cto.com
This problem occurs when I install a virtual machine to windows. I found a solution on the Internet, which is the same as the following: First, reinstall the system; second, do not use such virtual machines to change to virtual machines. What's more, what's wrong with Mawei? disable the firewall, use the green version, and crack files. Then I felt that this problem was not so troublesome, and there was no need to move the system without moving it. I had to reinstall the system for all the major and minor problems.
When I open VMware to install software, it prompts me to uninstall the previous version, but I have uninstalled it. Follow the installation instructions to uninstall the SDK.
I want to solve this problem by deleting the previously uninstalled residual files.
Therefore, I will clean up the remaining vmwareworkstaton files in the system according to my ideas.
1. Open the computer-> Management-> service and check that the VMware service still exists.
Stop the following services in Service Management (Vm *)
VMware Authentication Service
VMware Registration Service
VMware DHCP service
VMware NAT service
2. Uninstall the device computer installed in VMware-> Manage-> Device Manager-> View-> display hidden devices-> plug-and-play driverDelete the following program
VMware hcmon
VMware network application interface
Vmparport vmx86
VMware Bridge Protocol
3. Clear the registry and run-> Regedit-> edit-> Search-> "VMware". All results are deleted! Clear C:/program files/vmware | C:/Windows/system32 & C:/Windows/system32/drivers which are related to the VM. It is difficult to differentiate the attributes of the C:/program files/vmware.
Iv. Computer-> Management-> Local User Group Management-> Delete _ vmware_user _ User and _ VMware _ User Group
5. restart the computer
6. re-install VMware-workstation-full-7.1.3-324285 with administrator privileges
Select repair mode!
Success! Everything works!
The MSI failed prompt is displayed when vmware workstation is installed.
