The node solution is not visible when the database software runInstaller is installed in RAC. racruninstaller

Clusterware is installed normally, but runInstaller cannot see the node information when installing Oracle software:

[Grid @ rac1 bin] $ crs_stat-t

Name Type Target State Host

------------------------------------------------------------

Ora... N1.lsnr ora... er. type ONLINE rac1

Ora. OCR. dg ora... up. type ONLINE rac1

Ora. asm ora. asm. type ONLINE rac1

Ora. cvu ora. cvu. type ONLINE rac2

Ora. gsd ora. gsd. type OFFLINE

Ora... network ora... rk. type ONLINE rac1

Ora. Solaris ora. productname. type ONLINE rac2

Ora. ons ora. ons. type ONLINE rac1

Ora... SM1.asm application ONLINE rac1

Ora. rac1.gsd application OFFLINE

Ora. rac1.ons application ONLINE rac1

Ora... SM2.asm application ONLINE rac2

Ora... ry. acfs ora... fs. type ONLINE rac1

Ora. scan1.vip ora... ip. type ONLINE rac1

[Grid @ rac1 bin] $

The reason for this is that Clusterware's Inventory information is not accurate. Just update it again.

Solution:

Switch to the GRID user and enter $ ORACLE_HOME/bin.

[Grid @ rac1 bin] $ pwd

/U01/gridsoft/11.2.0/oui/bin

[Grid @ rac1 bin] $ ls

AddLangs. sh attachHome. sh filesList. bat filesList. sh resource runInstaller runSSHSetup. sh

AddNode. sh detachHome. sh filesList. properties lsnodes runConfig. sh runInstaller. sh

[Grid @ rac1 bin] $

-- Update inventory:

[Grid @ rac1 bin] $. /runInstaller-silent-ignoreSysPrereqs-updateNodeList ORACLE_HOME = "/u01/gridsoft/11.2.0" LOCAL_NODE = "rac1" CLUSTER_NODES = "{rac1, rac2}" CRS = true

Starting Oracle Universal Installer...

Checking swap space: must be greater than500 MB. Actual 15999 MB Passed

The inventory pointer is located at/etc/oraInst. loc

The inventory is located at/u01/oraInventory

'Updatenodelist' was successful.

Restore to normal.
