The nVidianForce Nic supports Ubuntu and does not support Windows-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. For more information, see the following. I only heard that the hardware does not support linux but must support windows, but the nVidia nForce Nic is opposite.
Recently, I found that windows computers could not access the Internet for no reason in the lab. Looking at the local connection, I found that the number of sent and received data packets does not change, even if I ping the outside, it still does not change, my first reaction was that the network card was broken, but it could be used in ubuntu. I thought there was a virus. I installed Kabbah and scanned it. I found no. I went back to my bedroom and used pppoe to access the Internet, but in the lab, it is used to suddenly fail to access the network. In addition, there is no such problem in ubuntu. This reminds me that the problem may be caused by the driver. I installed the latest driver and found that the problem persists. Then I suspected that there was a problem with xp. I re-installed xp and the problem persisted, I did not expect this problem to happen with vista.
