The Windows 8.1 Release date is announced, with Microsoft officially announcing that, from 7 o'clock October 17 Night, Windows 8.1 will start to update the Windows 8 users free of charge on Windows 8, starting with the Windows App Store on the web. In addition to improvements based on Windows 8, Windows 8.1 brings new things, such as the IE11 that will be rolled out with 8.1. As the newest member of the family, IE11 will further improve performance and security, and bring some new features, as well as the deletion and optimization of some old functions. Today we focus on the increase and decrease in function, to see what IE11 changed the features and options.
IE11 new feature Options
Background load site
IE11 has added a feature that enhances the user experience by loading sites and content in the background to optimize performance. This is a technology that is most likely to be clicked by a user on the smart pre-judgment page to load up in the background, effectively improving page opening and loading speed.

Using SPDY/3
This is also a new feature of IE11, Spdy is a TCP based application layer protocol developed by Google, similar to the HTTP protocol we often say, but it is faster and more secure than HTTP.
IE11 Support SPDY/3 Protocol
64-bit Enhanced protection mode
The IE11 provides additional 64-bit process support for enhanced protection mode. Note that this option is only visible in the 64-bit Windows 8.1 IE11.

TAB features
In IE11, the tab feature will no longer be optional, but is fixed to always enabled, which means that future tab browsing thoroughly becomes the standard configuration for IE.
From IE7 to IE10, tabs are selectable to turn on or off
IE11 can no longer turn off the tab feature
Use the window again to start the shortcut (tab browsing is off)
This is an option that echoes the Startup tab, and since the tab feature is no longer available in IE11, there is no need for this option to exist.
IE11 no longer needs this option
Compatibility View automatically restores page layout errors
IE has an option to automatically reply to page layout errors using the Compatibility view, by introducing the Compatibility View feature to address the problem of displaying layout errors in new browsers for older Web sites that do not support the standard. However, in the IE11, this option was canceled. Perhaps Microsoft believes that the old web site, which does not support the new standard, is almost gone.

Make the search pane available to your Web site
This option is similar to the Compatibility View option mentioned above (the option position is also very close) and has been deleted by IE11.
Note:
If you don't have the idea to upgrade to Windows 8/windows 8.1 for the time being, but you want to try IE11, you can also download the IE11 for Windows 7 version separately.
