The process of creating a child domain by a Windows 7 system

The process of creating a child domain is basically similar to the process of creating a primary domain controller, below in DZ. Example of the test subdomain created under the domain of CN.

1 Install the DNS server and Active directory Domain Services roles

First, verify that the preferred DNS for the TCP/IP properties of the local network adapter points to the domain controller (10 of the parent domain DZ. cn). 0.66.99/24), at the same time confirm the local IP address (10. 0.66.199/24) and the domain controller on the same network segment, and then follow the "Create first domain Controller" method to install the DNS server and Active directory Domain Services roles.

2) Creating a child domain controller

Click the Next button continuously until the summary dialog shown in Figure 5 appears, and the new domain name contains the domain name of the parent domain and the Next button to begin installing the child domain, as shown in Figure 6. After the system is downloaded and installed, pop up the dialog shown in Figure 7, click the "Finish" button, and in the restart dialog shown in Figure 8, click the "Reboot Now" button to complete the child domain creation after the computer restarts. CN "Subdomain created successfully.
