Now there is a Linux server with Oracle installed on it. We want to use the Conn/As sysdba statement to log on to the database and manage the database. However, there is always an error, the error such as service name cannot be found. What is the problem.

It is actually a very small problem, because the oracle_sid environment variable is not configured in the environment variable, so sqlplus does not know which instance you want to connect to, so we are at $ home /. add the following sentence to the bashrc file:

Export oracle_sid = NB

In this case, Sid is specified, but don't worry. After saving the file, you need to import the. bashrc file.

Source . Bashrc

Then you can connect to SQL plus to find that you can use Conn/As sysdba to connect to the database for management.
