Windows Vista Product Version classification
In various versions of Windows Vista, there are two broad categories of home and business that correspond to each version of Windows XP. XP is currently divided into Windows XP Starter, home, Media Center, Professional, Professional x64, and Tablet PCs.
Home will be divided into:
Windows Starter 2007 (primary version)
Windows Vista Home Basic (primary family Edition) [There is also a house basic N specifically for the European market]
Windows Vista Home Premium (Enhanced Family Edition)
Windows Vista Ultimate (Ultimate Version) [before this became "Uber" version]
Business has three versions:
Windows Vista Small Business (Small Business Edition)
Windows Vista Business (Business Edition) [previously became professional Standard Edition, as well as Business N for European users]
Windows Vista Enterprise (Enterprise Edition) [before this became professional Premium]
In other words, Winodws Vista is now divided into 7 versions. If you count two n versions of the European market, that's 9. It should be noted that at present, all versions of the name is only a code, before the release, the names of these versions may change at any time. However, the division of these versions should not be changed within one or two weeks.
