Cause: I found a lot of related questions on the Internet: Some say that SQL 2005 does not support singular CPUs (probably this means), but this bug has been fixed in SQL 2005 sp2; it is also said that when SQL 2005 Standard Edition (no more than four CPUs) and Enterprise Edition (no limit) are installed, the total number of CPU cores must be 2 to the Npower.
