The SQL statement always displays "restoring" when restoring the database"

Source: Internet
Author: User

"Restore database" + dbname + "from disk = '" + filepath + "' with replace, norecovery ";

Dbname: Database Name

Filepath: the path name (including the file name) of the backup data)

When you use the preceding SQL statement to restore a backup database, the database status is always "restoring", so that you cannot perform other operations on the database.

Solution: "Restore database" + dbname + "from disk = '" + filepath + "' with replace, recovery ";

That is, use recovery instead of norecovery.

Note: replace must also be required. Otherwise, errors may occur. (Errors are the same as errors generated when "overwrite the original database" is not selected)
