When using the SATA interface hard disk to install XP system, there is a panic, blue screen situation, show "Unknown Hard errorsystemrootsystem32ntdll.ll" error.
Since the SATA interface appears later than the XP system, the SATA driver needs to be invoked when the system is installed, and an unrecognized hard drive error occurs if the corresponding driver is not provided.
However, this problem only occurs when you install an XP, 2000, 2003 system. Not all SATA drives have this problem, there is no built-in RAID capability in the SATA controller in the motherboard chip, or if the feature is turned off, there is no need to load the driver to install the system directly.
The easiest way to do this is to turn SATA off in the BIOS setup, using compatibility mode. After entering the BIOS, select "System Configuration" (Systems Setup), the "SATA Native Support" (SATA) set to "Disable", set up, system installation and normal IDE hard drive no different.
