Find yourself a tutorial, I suggest to take a look at the video tutorial get started, because if you look directly at the manual or something, the introduction is too boring, and so on your PHP base a little impression. Check out the books, or the documentation, to find out. The pace of progress was too slow because I watched the video all the time.

The Official Handbook +1,w3school is also OK, these two shortcomings is unable to systematically study gradually.
