The Rstrip () method returns a copy of the ending string for all characters that are stripped (the default is a space character).

The following is the syntax for the Rstrip () method:

Str.rstrip ([chars])

Parameters

  • Chars--can provide the characters to be removed.

return value

This method returns a copy of all characters that are stripped of the string (the default is a space character) to the end of the string.
Example

The following example shows the use of the Rstrip () method.

#!/usr/bin/pythonstr = "This is  string example....wow!!!  "; Print Str.rstrip (); str = "88888888this is string EXAMPLE....WOW!!! 8888888 ";p rint str.rstrip (' 8 ');

When we run the above program, it produces the following results:
