1. In the SQL Manager, the Full-text index (full text search) item is grayed out in the context menu of the specific table;

Workaround: EXEC sp_fulltext_database ' Enable '

2. How to use full-text search:

2.1. SELECT * FROM tablename where CONTAINS (*, ' keywords ')--query from the table for records with a column containing ' keywords '

2.2. Select * FROM tablename where CONTAINS (*, ' keywords or other words ')--queries from a table for records with a column containing ' keywords ' or ' other words '

2.3. FREETEXT is a similar usage and has not been studied for the time being.

3. Error running the above SQL statement. Remember to start the full-text search service in system services, that is: SQL full-text Filter Daemon Launcher
