Cause:

The DTD setting for "http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-mapping-2.0.dtd" is incorrect, causing eclipse to re-download each time the *. HBM. xml file is modified

Solution:

Download or find the downloaded hibernate-mapping-2.0.dtd locally (typically in the Work/loader/NET/SF/hibernate/directory of the workspace)

Choose WINDOW> preferences> Web and XML> XML catalog> Add from the menu to add the saved DTD file (locationTheLocal DTD file)

Enter-// hibernate/hibernate mapping DTD 2.0 // en in the key.
