I have checked my cpu and supported 64-bit systems. When I use a virtual machine, I am told that it is not supported. Is it because I have an error checking the hardware or cannot physically install a 64-bit system?

Virtualization is not supported. x64 systems cannot be installed on virtual machines no matter whether your host is 64-bit;

If you don't believe it, you can try it yourself. When you create a virtual machine in the Virtual Machine Software, select a 64-bit platform and it will automatically report a warning. Virtualization is supported, but not enabled in BIOS!

This has nothing to do with the system used by your host and the number of Virtual Machine Software. Because VT is not supported, the virtual processor in the virtual machine is 32! You can install any virtual machine software, but it is not a 64-bit system.

Although Virtual Machine Software has no absolute requirements for hardware virtualization, but VM 8 (do not know how the new version is) will be detected during installation, not supported or not enabled, an error is reported directly to you, and the software itself cannot be installed.
