Symptom symptoms: This failure occurs when you use the Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection tool to connect Remote Desktop and Terminal Services for Windows vistas or Windows Server 2008.
Failure generation Environment: Remote Desktop Connection Tool 6.0 or the following versions of Windows XP profressional SP1, SP2, SP3
Workaround:
1. Please upgrade the latest 6.1 version of the Remote Desktop Connection tool.
2, please upgrade XP to the latest SP3 patch pack.
3. Run "regedit" to open the Registry Editor, enter "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa", double-click "Security Packages" in the right column to open Edit Multi-String dialog box to add the "tspkg" character to the list box cursor.
4, then navigate to "Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\securityproviders", double-click the "SecurityProviders" string on the right, open " Edit String dialog box, add ", Credssp.dll" to the end of the value, note that there is a space in English after the comma.
