Vs212 creates an mvc3 project and finds that the StoreDB. Desiger. cs file is empty when the ADO. NET Object Data Model is added.

The StoreDB. Desiger. cs file generated is empty.

 

The reason is that when you add an ADO. NET object in vs2012, the value of "code generation policy" is "NONE,

 

 

You only need to right-click the blank area of "[relationship diagram]" and change the value of "code generation policy ".

 

Change the value of "code generation policy" to "Default Value"
