ThinkPad multi-language system installation of Office 2016 prompts an error or failure operation guide

When you try to install Office 2016 on a multi-language system, an error message "Something went wrong" may pop up, as shown in the following figure:

Microsoft route SW 10, with Office 2016 version 16.0.6965.2053

Procedure:

This is a known problem of Microsoft. It is related to the Office language pack patch. Currently, Microsoft has provided an online update to solve this problem.

Method 1:Offcie 2016 will automatically update and fix this problem. If automatic updates are not detected, you can manually update Office 2016 to upgrade online to fix this problem.

 

1. Open a Word document (or execution program document of any Office );

 

2. In the file-account option, load the Office Update, click the Update option, and select Update now.
