Reason analysis:
This folder is the data for the operating system that was upgraded after Win10 to back up to the previous version, and could not be rolled back to the previous operating system if deleted.
In the middle of the rollback function will disappear, if it is from the Win8.1 upgrade to Win10 can be restored through the recovery function to the previous system, if the WIN7 upgrade will not be able to restore to the previous system.
Solution:
Important reminder: Deleting the Windows.old folder causes the rollback to function before the operating system, and before you do so, make sure that you no longer need to use this feature, especially from the Win7 system to the WIN10 system, and once you delete the folder, you will not be able to fall back to the previous operating system.
