Three methods for creating sqlcommand

1. Use the New Keyword to directly create an instance of the object and set the appropriate attributes:

String strconn, strsql;

Strconn = @ "Data Source =. \ sqlexpress;" + "Initial catalog = northwind; trusted_connection = yes ";

Strsql = "select customerid, companyName from customers ";

Sqlconnection Cn = new sqlconnection (strconn );

CN. open ();

Sqlcommand cmd;

 

Cmd = new sqlcommand ();

Cmd. Connection = cn;

Cmd. commandtext = strsql;

2. Use a constructor to specify the query string and sqlconnection object.

Cmd = new sqlcommand (strsql, CN );

 

3. Call the createcommand method of the sqlconnection class

Cmd = cn. createcommand ();

Cmd. commandtext = strsql;
