Security organization SecurityFocus, a security organization that includes desktop applications, Linux system management, Kernel research, embedded systems, and open source, said three security vulnerabilities were found in the Linux Kernel, all are memory access defects.

Among the three vulnerabilities, one allows unauthorized users to read any memory location, and the other allows unauthorized users to write data to any memory location, third, attackers can access resources in specific Vservers.

Attackers can exploit these vulnerabilities to initiate DoS attacks or obtain root privileges. Security company Core Security Technologies has completed attack code to exploit these vulnerabilities.

These defects affect Linux Kernel 2.6.24.1 and older versions. these problems have been fixed in the new version.
