1 How to install cscope to emacs in Ubuntu?

 

Sudo apt-get install cscope-el cscope

 

NOTICE: Do not forget cscope-el

 

 

 

2 How to use cscope in emacs

 

After cs1_installed, it will add a menu to emacs automatically.

There you can see invalid useful functions and key-pressing of cscope.

 

The most useful key-pressing is:

 

C-c s L: create list of files to index

 

C-c s g: find global definition

 

C-c s c: find functions calling a specified function

 

For other functions of csctions, please try it in your emacs :)
