Some friends like to enable the "hierarchical Review" function of IE and set a password ("Internet Options → content → hierarchical Review "). In this way, when an ActiveX page is displayed, the prompt message "hierarchical review not allowed to view" is displayed. Then, a Password dialog box is displayed, asking you to enter the guardian password. If the password is incorrect, stop browsing.
However, if the password is forgotten, you cannot browse these pages. You cannot remove the security password even if you reinstall IE. You can use the registry to clear the logs. Run the "register regedit.exe" command, open the "Registry Editor" window, find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies Branch, and select the "ratings" subkey under the policies subkey, press the "Del" key to delete it. Because the "key" data under the "ratings" subkey is the encrypted password, the subkey is deleted, the IE browser naturally thinks that we have not set a password.
